Alex is a senior at UCLA majoring in Physiological Sciences and is attending Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences next year with the Army. This year marks her eighth and culminating year in participation with Model United Nations. With four years of Chairing experience, and two years of Secretariat experience, Alex notes that Chronicle is unlike any committee in the Model UN community. Additionally, she has staffed for three years with Global Classrooms, and is honored to be the 2013 Editor in Chief of the Conference Chronicle. She exudes excitement for the Editorial Staff and Press Corps that will be covering GCIMUN 2013.
Zach Wojtowicz – Circulation Director
Zach Wojtowicz is a junior at the University of Pennsylvania studying mathematical economics and the classics. He began participating in Model United Nations as a freshman in College, and sees it as an integral part of his education and personal development. As a co-founder and staff writer for two separate international affairs publications, Zach hopes to bring his past success to the Conference Chronicle as Circulation Director. International interests include politics of the EU, economic development in Latin America and Africa, dissolution of the USSR.
Shelby is a fourth year student at the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in computer science and Russian language. She has served as USG of Technology for Central Texas Model UN (CTMUN) for the past three years, as well as staffed various conferences across Texas. She is thrilled to be returning for a third GCIMUN, and is looking forward to a great conference alongside the Chronicle staff.
Naziya is a fourth year Psychology and Pre-Med major at The University of Texas at Austin. She has been a part of Model UN for a little over a year and has staffed several conferences including CTMUN, HAMUN, and GC Houston. Naziya is the current Secretary-General for HAMUN-39 (2014). She is excited to work with the Chronicle Staff this year at GCIMUN to make the Conference Chronicle a resounding success. With her enthusiasm, dedication, and passion for Model UN she hopes to contribute to the Chronicle Staff team dynamic.
Carol Lim- Technology Director
Carol is a sophomore at UCLA majoring in both Political Science and Economics. This is her fifth year of Model UN and she has staffed several conferences including GCLA, LAMUN, BruinMUN and THIMUN Singapore. She is excited and honored to be a part of GCI this year and hopes to bring her experience in the Undergraduate Law Journal to this conference. She also can’t wait to work with everyone to make this year’s Chronicle the best one yet!
Mumta is a third year Advertising major at the University of Texas at Austin. This is also her third year participating in Model UN and she is very excited to be a part of Chronicle staff. As the Art Director, she will be in charge of photo editing, layouts, and general design features for Chronicle. She looks forward to meeting everyone on staff and cannot wait for GCIMUN 2013!
Cassy is a first year Politics and Government major at St. John’s University. She has staffed two conferences prior to this but served as a member of a dias. She is very excited to be a part of the Chronicle staff and eager to learn more about it. Cassy will serve as one of the few Editors of the Conference Chronicle this year. She cannot wait to attend GCIMUN and get this conference started!!
